A child who is not at school or who is late on a regular basis misses valuable learning and instruction time. This results in frustrations for the child and learning gaps

Gwen Lavalley has moved officially to the position of Principal and we welcome Mrs. Brenda McCormick as Vice-Principal/Learning Support Teacher. Ms. Han Mai, Mr. Richard Ainsley will be familiar faces and Ms. Faye Antone returns to Standing Stone after several year’s absence while Ms. Tonya Antone becomes the Arts teacher. Ms. Jenn Bailey will fill in for Ms. Stephanie Park, Ms. “Angelika Lafleur” is joining the staff for Ms. Christine Nicholson and Ms. Sylvia Klassen will take over for Ms. Jackson as they each continue their leaves. Two new Educational Assistants: Ms. “Liz Hardy” and Mr. Vaughn Antone are great additions to the Support Staff. Ms. Carrie Antone will move into the capacity of Oneida Language teacher for half time and continue her Educational Assistant’s position to complete her assignment. We will continue to share Mr. Neil Cornelius with Saunders until Christmas.

Familiar faces returning include: Mrs. Shirley Gleadall, Mr. Steven Haigh, Ms. Melissa Stuart, Ms. Krista Campbell, Ms. Doreen Gysbers, Mr. Dave Robinson, Mrs. Jackie Sutherland, Mrs. Doreen Elijah, Ms. Elisa Petrenko, Mr. Ryan Cornelius, Ms. Corey Nicholas, Mrs. Janis Cornelius, Ms. Ange Antone, Mr. Wayne Sickles and Mr. Todd Cornelus round out the staff complement.
